A gentle week on a Devon by Bike! cycling holiday

What's included:

Transport to and from your chosen departure point, personally selected B&B style accommodation. (Hire bikes and luggage transfers can be provided on request)


  • Day 1

    Start Powderham Castle, destination Exmouth. Distance: 15mls, (24Km). All flat, some alongside roads, nearly all traffic free. Beautiful estuary views. Optional detour into Exeter.
  • Day 2

    Transfer to Meeth, start of Tarka Trail. 15mls (24Km) of flat, traffic-free cycling to Bideford. Plenty of time to enjoy the fabulous scenery in 'Tarka the Otter' country.
  • Day 3

    Tarka Trail cont.d. From Bideford to Barnstaple, or Braunton. 15mls (24Km). All level and traffic free. Spectacular views across famous sand dunes and beaches.
  • Day 4

    Transfer to Okehampton, start of the Granite Way, to Lydford. 11mls (18Km). Beautiful scenery over Dartmoor. See Lydford Gorge.
  • Day 5

    Transfer to Plym valley trail, Yelverton, on Dartmoor, to Plymouth. 15mls (24Km). Gently downhill, wonderful views across old viaducts. See historic Plymouth.
  • Day 6

    Collect and transport back to your car, train station or airport.

 

All this can be provided for approx. 500, per person based on two sharing, depending on your requirements. Reductions for children and larger group sizes. Accommodation will be tailored to meet your needs - e.g. twin, double or family rooms and a choice of price/quality. (You can even stay in a yurt on one of the routes!) You will receive full route information and ideas for things to do and see.
